as a gateway to the mutual fund universe, we can
increase diversification opportunities when designing

nationally recognized alternatives for participant
directed plans.
We
were early adopters of the Defined Contribution
Clearing System ("DCCS"), both as a
recordkeeper and as a full settling Trust
member. The DCCS system provides for common
settlement protocols across the participating mutual
fund families and allows for expedited nightly
transaction processing. This means that if you
rebalance your porfolio online before the market
closes, you will be able to see it online that
following morning. |

For
example, a participant can direct changes to her
investment options one afternoon and view her new
account positions the next morning over the
Internet. We will have placed, settled and
released the required trades with each of the various
investment managers the night before, regardless of
how many different investment funds were involved,
all at no cost to the participant or their employer.
We
now offer even more flexibility with a brokerage
window accessible by participants through our
registered broker dealer, Hand Securities, Inc.
Through this platform, each participant can choose
from thousands of mutual funds and individual
securities.
