We currently administer more than eight hundred million dollars in assets for over two hundred seventy-five defined benefit and defined contribution plans, IRA's, trusts, and agency accounts.

		Pooled common and collective funds provide an economical, cost-effective solution to investing.  Hand Benefits and Trust Company currently serves as trustee administrator for thirteen pooled collective funds.  These funds are valued daily by our operations department. As an administrative trustee, we have the ability to provide a multitude of accounting services.  Our staff has the experience and training to administer funds managed by third-party investment advisors.  Portfolio and shareholder service accounting are processed on our Trust System which is housed on an IBM iSeries.  A local area network and Bloomberg research computer provide administrative support to our staff.

Hand Composite Employee Benefit Trust Funds

Hand Benefits and Trust established the American Industries Composite Employee Benefit Trust on May 1, 1964.  This provided a trust in which the assets of the employee benefit plans—qualified under Section 401(a) of the Revenue Code of 1986, as amended—can be co-mingled in one or more investment accounts established pursuant to the Composite Trust for purposes of broad and diverse investment opportunities for such qualified plans.

These funds are maintained for the exclusive benefit of the tax qualified retirement plans that have engaged HBTCo as a fiduciary or as an agent for a fiduciary.
